De hals met klassiek '63 Precision Bass-profiel heeft nu comfortabele, afgeronde toetsranden, een 'Super-Natural'-satijnen afwerking en een nieuw vormgegeven halsvoet voor een uiterst comfortabel gevoel en gemakkelijke toegang tot de hogere fretposities Het nieuwe V-Mod II Precision Bass split-coil element geeft meer definitie dan ooit en levert tegelijkertijd de punch en grom waar de P Bass® bekend om staat.

V-Mod II Precision Bass-elementen zijn gemodificeerde versies van onze klassieke vintage ontwerpen. Dit split-coil element heeft 100% het fundamentele Fender-basgeluid zoals je dat kent en waar je van houdt, en geven je de vintage warmte, punch en definitie die Fender tot een legende hebben gemaakt.
NIEUW AFGERONDE HALSVOET
De afgeronde halsvoet en afgeschuinde halsplaat verbeteren de toegang tot de hogere fretposities en maken het spelen van solo's gemakkelijk en comfortabel.
HIMASS™ VINTAGE BRUG
Deze nauwkeurig vervaardigde brug met snare door de body of bovenlangs zorgt voor meer sustain, resonantie en een duidelijkere aanslag dankzij een koudgewalste stalen basisplaat, zwaar uitgevoerd messing achterblok en verchroomde messing zadels.
’63 P BASS® HALSPROFIEL
Het '63 P Bass®-halsprofie wordt door velen beschouwd als de gouden standaard voor het profiel van de basgitaarhals. Daarom is de American Professional II Precision Bass hiermee uitgerust. De Super-Natural satijnen afwerking aan de achterkant van de hals zorgt voor een comformtabel speelgevoel, wat wordt versterkt door afgeronde toetsranden.
POSIFLEX™ GRAFIETSTAVEN
Alle American Professional-basgitaren zijn voorzien van Posiflex™-grafietstaven om veranderingen in de halswerking door omgevingsinvloeden tegen te gaan. Deze staven zijn onder de toets ingebouwd en zorgen voor de betrouwbaarheid van de afstelling , zowel onderweg als in de studio of thuis.
STEMMECHIEKENEN MET CONISCHE SCHACHT
De taps toelopende schachten van de stemmechanieken zijn aan de bovenkant breder dan aan de onderkant en drukken de snaarwikkelingen naar beneden en houden ze strak, wat resulteert in een scherpere en consistente breekhoek over de topkam, waardoor een langere sustain en betere stemstabiliteit wordt gecreëerd.
